Viaje a Tailandia y Camboya Day V

DIA V

(Today I have some time to write again. We didnt do too much today as we would head to Cambodia in the afternoon. We only went to Chatuchak market whihc is the biggest market in Thailand. You can find everything you need  there. They have clothes,, crafts, food and all animals and things you can imagine. This is our morning today. )

We went walking from home as it is only 9 km away.

Even though Bangkok is not the tidiest city of the world, walking here feels safe. People are friendly (I have to say that not  more than in Colombia, but it may be due to their English accent). Some general stuff we´ve observed is that a large number of people work in the street selling food, or even sewing in a corner. The treffic here is a bit chaotic, aparently our colombian skills are not enough to cross streets :). However, we love Bangkok and we would feel like living here!

De esto hay en todo lado :/!
Things like this are everywhere :/!

Mazorquita :) ...
Corn -ito :)..

Algunos tamales deliciosos..
Some delicious tamales...

Some people fish in this sewage canal :(. We are not sure whether they sell the fish or they eat it.

And then we went and picked the  bags and headed to the airport. We caught the subway. I takes like an hour.

Pero! Espere! Este si es el aeropuerto Claudia? ..
But, wait! wait! , is this the right airport Claudia?

We were in  Suvarnabhumi airport, and guess what? Our flight departed from Demong airport which is in the other side of Bangkok...:(

Apurate! Tenemos que encontrar un taxi ...
Hurry up! We gotta find a taxi...

But, lucky us! there is a shuttle from the airport. It took so long as it was Bangkok´s rush hour...

And somehow we made it! Nothing better than a banana and some latte!

Y bienvenidos a Cambodia!
