Viaje a Tailandia y Camboya Day III

DIA III

Andr'es finalmente me ha dado mi provisi'on de cosas Colombianas, que delicia (ya me com'i uno de los bocadillos). Gracias por los regalos :). (Andrés finally gave me my colombian presents!, the guava paste is delicious! Thank so much!)

Es bueno empezar el dia con algo de fruta de la que compramos ayer y con el tamale que compr'e ayer tambien.. y por supuesto con cafesito :).

Andres no comio tamale,,, (What a better way to start the day off that with some fruit, a thai tamale, and off course a coffee!)

Obviamente yo si :) ...

Hoy nuestro destino es el rio mas importante del pais llamdo Chao Praya y un sitio llamado el gran palacio. Es el palacio donde vivia anteriormente el rey de thailandia hasta 1925. Haay un buda hecho de esmeralda. Es un sitio que no disfrutamos mucho, no nos sentimos tan comodos con tanta adoraci'on hacia un humano. En nuestro camino, encontramos algo de fruta como siempre. Es muy barata, inclusive m'as barata que en Colombia. Dicen que no hay que comer cosas que seas vendidas as'i de esta forma, pero creemos que tenemos las suficientes defensas para aguantar eso y mucho m'as jejeje. 

(Today we are heading t the most important river in Thailand: Chao Praya and a place called Grand Palace. It use to be the king´s house before 1925. There is a buda made of emerald!... As usual we found some fruit on our way. It is recommended not to eat fruit sold in this  way, but we think we have enough antibodies! )

Bueno, nuestro descubrimienot m'as grande fue que tambi'en hay Guayaba radiactiva rosada! , y tambien es deliciosa. Sin embargo, la verde sigue siendo nuestra favorita. (Our biggest discovery today is the pink radioactive guava! It is also delicous, but we still think the green one is better). 

Esta fruta verde se denomina kiwi tailandes... Es una fruta m'as o menos no tan rica jejeje... digamos que decidimos guardarla por si nos estabamos muriendo de hambre en algun momento (lo cu'al si sucedi'o.) T(This fruit is called thai kiwi, it is not that good :( , we decided to keep it just in case we were starving to death). 

Y he aqu'i el gran palacio .... The grand palace! 

A la salida nos encontramos una sandia amarilla... ya recolectamos las semillas tambien ... We found a yellow watermelon when we left and we kept the seeds!

Y luego decidimos que no era suficiente con los 24 kilometros caminados ayer, asi que continuamos caminando hacia el rio. Y he aqu'i lo que nos encontramos...We decided it was not enough to have walked 24 km yesterday and continue walking to the river... and here it is what we found

Esta es interesante porque es solo una lancha muy muy pequena cargando ese planchon tan largo. This is just one boat carrying more than 10 times its weight

Es un rio hermoso y lo utilizan mucho para trasportar cosas. tambi'en hay tures por el rio... y obviamente yo queria ir, pero Andr'es no quizo porque seg'un 'el se le pod'ia prender alguna infecci'on (aveces se pone super nina), pero bueno....

There are also tours in teh river, but Andres was scared to get a disease :/

Luego seguimos caminaod hacia un mercado para conseguir nuestro almuerzo (como a las 3 de la tarde) de d'ia. Para empezar  y un platanito asado delicioso... And then we when to the market to get something to eat! To start off.. a delicious grilled plantain!

Junto con una deliciosa guayaba radioactiva :) .. And off course some radioactive guava!

El almuerzo de Andres fue pargo frito con arroz y huevo (imaginate la felicidad de 'el). 

Yo no tuve mucah suerte con mi almuerzo. Seleccion'e una sopa que parecia vegetariana, pero tenia muchisisisismo puerco. Tambien compre un par de papas dulces moradas, una mazorca muy parecida a la colombiana y una tortica hecha de huevo y arroz 

Decidimos llevar todo a la casa y comer all'i... Y as'i se ve'ia todo ...

TAndres had some fried fish , rice and eggs.. he was so happy!. I ws not lucky with my lunch as I ordered something that seemed vegetarian.. but had a lot of pork ... not very nice! We also had some other things like kumara, maiz and rice cake!.
