Viaje a Tailandia y Camboya Day IV

DIA IV

He aquí nosotros buscando nuestro bus...

(Our day today begin quite early, at 5:30 am. Today's plan contains scenes that may be controversial. Andres wants to visit the tiger temple. I think it's a good experience, not my favorite, but a must do if in Thailand. Apart from visiting the temple, we had another plan in case we had time: Go to a park called Erawan National Park, I have to say  that the latter has been my favorite place so far.

Well, the night before we thought it may be cheaper to go in a tour, an idea that we did not like much,  However, we decided to the bus terminal early and see how easy it was to get to thetemple by ourselves. Otherwise, we would find a tour.
Our first mistake of the day was catching a taxi to the South Terminal! The ride was 150 in the taximeter and the driver said it was $ 400 .... In the end we gave three hundred, and we will never do it again!

To get to the temple (three hours and a little more from here),  we take a bus to Kanchanaburri and then look for a local taxi to the temple. The South Terminal is not very easy for tourists .... and it is not easy to find the right bus!  ...)

y finalmente de alguna forma lo logramos! Dos tiquetes para Katchananburri...
We finally manage somehow! Two tickets to Kachananburri

Andres was a bit surprise we he saw the bus. He said: I hope it has good brakes!

Luego, algo de comer antes de irnos...
Something to eat before leaving!

We left during rush hour... a bit similar to Bogota´s :A chaos!

Y aquí hemos llegado a Katchananburri...
aAnd we arrived in Kachananburri, we walk arounf for a while and then headed to look for transfortation to the temple.

This is our driver! Our favorite driver!. He carried us all day for a small quantiy of money and he was sooo nce, we felt we could trust him from the first moment. His English was not the best of the world, but he has an awesome ability to comunicate. His name is Nu!.

 Y este es su carro,
and his car ...

Some pics on our way to the temple...

Y hemos llegado...
and here we are!

Un lindo mensaje...
a beatiful mesaje!

aI had to wear some additional clothes and it is considered disrespectfl to show to much in front of the tigers! I am not sure if the tigers are well treated or not, it seems there are! I would not agree if they were not. However, I dont go to  Thailand everyday, so it is a good place to see!

And then we hit the road to my favorite place up to now: Erawan Park

Y hemos llegado!
Here we are!

Not many words are necesary to describe it. Pictures say it all.

And we have found a natural slide for the baby to play!

The park many has different and spceial waterfalls !

Un gato...

Bye parque Erawan! Hasta una próxima oportunidad!
Bye Erawan,  hope to see you soon again!

Y nuestro camino de vuelta!
And our way back!

El baño en el terminal...
The toilet!

And some food in Bangkok... Papaya Salad!
